The aim of this research is to present the main assumptions of the project “Innovative multifunctional composite systems dedicated for autonomous unmanned platforms”. The project is being realised by the Consortium composed of: Institute of Security Technologies MORATEX – project Leader, Silesian Science and Technology Centre of Aviation Industry, Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation, Strzemiński Academy of Art Lodz. The goal of the project is to develop the innovative material solutions in the area of modern, multifunctional composite systems for making up the structures of airborne, land and naval autonomous unmanned platforms. This will be achieved through: the development of a new design strategy to allow for use of a systematic approach in the implementation process of innovations with the use of the Design Thinking; the development and scaling technologies of resins with ionic liquids, prepregs based on recipes of the resin with ionic liquids, multifunctional composite systems based on the above.
