Wastewater treatment process uses flow reactor and a sequence of batch reactors which are often called SBR. Sequential reactors are characterized by simple structure, flexible working and uncomplicated operation. It is possible to adjust the duration of phases, and thus the process parameters control, according to the quantative and qualitative characteristic of the influent wastewater. The effectiveness of wastewater treatment depends on SBR reactor operation phases and their control. At the process o laboratory experiments using bioreactors SBR type can be distinguished manual control, control using timer controls and control using a computer program. Control of SBR reactor work using a computer program seems to be the best option. It doesn't require constant human supervision, and all processes can be handled by a single computer program. This article presents control the operation of the laboratory SBR reactor using program constructed with the Visual Basic 6.0. The program is designed to control wastewater treatment processes based on the time of each phase, the degree of wastewater aeration and wastewater temperature. Sequential reactors work periodically, and therefore in the program was created a operation schedule for each day of the week. Schedule concerns three operations: aeration, mixing and assurance the required temperature.
